I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2018 with a degree in Environmental Science. I now work as an Environmental Planner, where I focus on transportation projects and minimizing their impact on the environment. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing tennis, and hanging out with my dog Ollie!

Hi, I'm Meaghan, originally from the Northeast and I've spent the last 7 years in Raleigh! I'm currently an HR Professional focusing on early talent recruitment. But my real joy comes from building meaningful relationships. So in 2021, I had the pleasure of learning about Triangle YP Civitan Group and l never looked back! It's been my biggest honor to belong to Triangle YP and getting to know all of our wonderful & altruistic members while giving back to our local community. When I'm not at work or YP events you can find me chasing beach sunsets and finding the best places in town to sit under twinkle lights, or watching my latest binge worthy TV show!

I graduated from a small liberal arts school in Ohio (Kenyon College) in 2018 with a degree in Statistics, and moved to Raleigh in 2020. Ever since I joined Civitan a year later, my favorite part has been getting to be an active member of the community and being involved with such an amazing group of people. I work as a technology consulting program manager and some of my hobbies include crafting, board games, traveling, and hanging out with my boyfriend and our two cats!

I graduated from Purdue University in Indiana in 2016 with a BS in Multidisciplinary Engineering and then returned to the Triangle after being away for more than a decade. I spend my days at John Deere making golf & turf equipment more productive, ergonomic, or electric, and my nights finishing up my MBA at NC State (Go Pack!) I live in Raleigh with my wife Kaitlyn—who you’ll also meet at Civitan events—and our rescue dog Millie. I love Civitan as a way to give back to our local community. My favorite events are the ones where I break a sweat and go home tired knowing I worked hard for a good cause!

I am a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and Indiana University, originally from South Carolina. Currently, I work in marketing at a global medical aesthetics company after a brief hospitality career at Marriott. I moved to Raleigh in 2013 and always valued getting to know my local community and supporting the causes in which I am passionate about, mostly notably childhood development, food security, and environmental efforts. I'm happiest doing pretty much anything at the beach and enjoy exploring Raleigh, hiking, and reading, thus love being so close to both the mountains and the sea!

I've been a member of Triangle YP Civitan since 2022 and became a board member in 2023. I moved to Raleigh in 2021 and work as a software engineer for an EdTech company. I enjoy running, hiking, and snowboarding.

Hi, I’m Katherine, the Civitan Social Chair. I was raised in Eastern NC and graduated from NC State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. I currently work in Transportation Engineering with NCDOT. In college I volunteered with various organizations and I wanted to continue to do so post-graduation. I found Civitan in 2021 and it was exactly what I was looking for. I love the balance of volunteer work and social opportunities. Civitan has allowed me to connect with other young professionals in the RDU area while giving back to my community. Outside of my career and Civitan, I love spending time outdoors. I’m an avid runner and also enjoy a host of other activities such as hiking and volleyball.

I graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Natural Resource Management in 2017 and have lived in Raleigh since 2022. I am an environmental scientist for the State of North Carolina. I found Civitan in 2023 and have been throughly enjoying this social group with a volunteering problem ever since I joined. In my spare time I enjoy traveling to national parks, exploring local food opportunities, and experience whatever fun activities the Triangle has to offer.
